Tell me a little bit about your business and how you promote mental wellness.

My business is a reflection of my multi-passionate heart which includes diversity and inclusion work, therapy, job-seeking support, and more. I promote mental wellness by encouraging my clients to increase their awareness of their mental health needs and try to ensure that their actions are in line with taking care of themselves as best as they can.

Why did you start Inspired Consulting & Psychological Services?

Honestly, I started Inspired Consulting & Psychological Services initially out of a sense of perpetual frustration with previous jobs. I felt both limited and pushed to capacity when it came to the different roles that I occupied. The things that I wanted to do were not always things I was able to do and I was often inundated with tasks that drained me. Thus, instead of continuing to be frustrated with what I was doing, I decided to create something that would work better for me; something that would allow room for more autonomy, purpose, joy, flexibility, and mastery. That initial frustration was so helpful because it propelled me to imagine different possibilities for my working life.

What services do you offer?

I offer diversity and inclusion programming, individual therapy, resume and/or CV support, workshops, and more.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my work is having the honor of seeing people's growth as I walk alongside them for a small part of their mental health journey. So many people are hurting and it makes my heart full to be able to help them navigate the challenges that life throws their way.

What should clients expect during the first session?

My clients can expect a warm, inviting, and intentional foundation building first session where we discuss hopes and expectations for therapy and start to develop a plan for our therapeutic work together.

What is something you want clients to know about you? OR what is a fun fact about you?

I want clients to know that I am down-to-earth and do not profess or pretend to know everything. I own my expertise while also acknowledging that each client is the expert on their life.

How can clients get in contact with you?

Prospective clients can get in touch with me by emailing me at info@inspiredconsultingstl.com or giving me a call at (314) 648-4279.
