Hi, I'm Kezia (she/her)
I founded Healing Spaces to be a safe space of healing, especially for Black and Brown individuals and members of other marginalized communities. Here you are safe, valued, and you matter.
I work with clients 6 and up, and specialize in psychological evaluation and parenting children with disruptive behaviors. I look forward to working with you and your family.

PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT
You are here because you find yourself Googling symptoms and asking yourself questions like:
"Am I clinically depressed?"
"Am I autistic?"
"Does my child have ADHD or a learning disorder?"
or simply, "What is going on with me?"
Through formal and comprehensive assessment and testing, I help individuals better understand their strengths and identify any areas of concern. These assessments can help you or your child better understand what is going on, get a formal diagnosis, and know what to do next.
If you are looking for a genuine and collaborative therapist, then I may be a good fit for you! I love to empower clients to take back control of their lives, set boundaries with friends and family members (yes, even parents!), and heal from the overwhelming stress in their current lives and trauma in their past. Together, let's dismantle your belief that you need to be strong all of the time and "have it together." You are deserving of rest.
My passion also includes helping parents and caregivers have better relationships with their children and manage difficult behaviors. My approach to this work is initially very relationship-centered and will focus on building up the foundation of the parent-child relationship and praising positive behaviors before focusing on rules and consequences.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to healing! Please note that I am NOT accepting new therapy clients until June 2023.
