Hi, I'm Nicole (she/her)

One of my favorite phrases is Hakuna Matata. No worries, right? Yeah, right! We all have stress and worry. I am passionate about helping people like you learn to deal and cope with these stressors, heal relationships, and feel better to take on the world!

I work with clients 12 and up, and specialize in couples therapy, and parent and caregiver support! I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey to wellness.

COUPLES THERAPY

Relationships are hard and take work to be successful. I LOVE and get EXCITED about helping couples navigate ways to improve their relationship, communicate better with each other, feel heard and respected, and strengthen the bonds you have with each other.

Sometimes, relationships have run their course...so, if you are looking for a supportive space to decide what are the best, next steps for you and your partner, then you can also reach out.

I graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Psychology. I received a M.A. in Counseling from the University of Missouri Kansas City with an emphasis in Couples and Family. I have worked in the mental health field for 14+ years.

If you are ready to heal your relationship and learn better ways to communicate, work together, and show love and respect, please do not hesitate to reach out!

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Happy Girl Texting

If you are seeking individual therapy, you may find our styles match if you are a young adult who is excited and motivated to address some of the difficulties in your life. These might be:

  • Trauma & PTSD, and managing the impacts of trauma on parenting and behavior

  • Depression and low self-esteem

  • Anxiety and other life stressors

I use evidence-based practices to help you change your negative or harmful patterns of behavior, thinking, and to achieve personal growth.

I tend to use an integrative approach to counseling, combining Person-Centered, Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and Adoption Competency (TAC) techniques to ensure each individual receives treatment tailored to their specific needs.
