Play-Based Therapy for Young Children
Helping young children express themselves and work through challenges requires creativity, patience, and a fun, engaging approach. I specialize in play-based therapy that meets kids where they are, turning therapy into an approachable and meaningful experience. Through games, activities, and expressive techniques, children can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment. My goal is to help your child feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Supporting “Resistant” or Reluctant Clients
Some children may seem “too cool” for therapy or may resist participating at first. That’s normal, and I’m here to meet them where they are. Using individualized strategies, I work to engage children, build trust, and make therapy relatable and fun. Together, we’ll help your child feel comfortable opening up, exploring their emotions, and developing tools to succeed both in and out of therapy.
Assessment and Differential Diagnosis
In addition to therapy, I serve as Healing Spaces’ Assessment Lead and psychometrist, specializing in psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. I provide comprehensive assessments to clarify diagnoses, guide treatment, and support educational planning. Whether it’s ADHD, autism, learning differences, or emotional and behavioral challenges, my work helps families and children gain insight, clarity, and actionable steps toward growth, understanding, and well-being.
Your Child’s Path to Growth
Whether your child needs help expressing emotions, managing behavior, or gaining insight into themselves, I provide a compassionate, individualized approach. Together, we’ll create a safe, engaging space where your child can thrive, build resilience, and develop the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
