I aim to empower clients by fostering self-worth, confidence, and motivation through a person-centered, collaborative approach.

Here's a quote that I love and believe captures the way I believe change and healing take place:
"The healing process is mainly based on the combination of words that allow the sharing of values, beliefs, feelings, and perceptions between two or more people." - Michela Rimondin, (2011).

Are we a good match?

Embarking on the path of healing and recovery is a courageous step. As a counselor deeply committed to supporting individuals through substance use and addiction challenges, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your journey toward recovery.

I have valuable experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals through their unique journeys. My commitment to providing inclusive and affirming therapy is deeply rooted in my understanding of diverse identities and needs. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where individuals feel seen, respected, and empowered to explore their identities and experiences without judgment.

With over four years of professional counseling experience, my expertise lies in working extensively with substance use, co-occurring disorders, and incarcerated populations. My approach is rooted in person-centered, collaborative, and culturally sensitive methods, aimed at empowering you to enhance motivation, self-worth, and acceptance while navigating life's complexities. Together, we'll work on building resilience, addressing underlying issues, and nurturing personal growth. If you're ready to embark on this transformative journey, I'm here to support and guide you every step of the way.

In my work with children and teenagers, I've cultivated a nurturing and supportive space where young individuals can freely explore their feelings and confront life's challenges. My caring and understanding approach fosters an environment where they feel heard and supported.

I specialize in assisting children and teenagers in coping with a range of issues such as developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, peer relationships, and identity exploration. Through specialized training in developmental trauma, I've gained the tools to help children process past experiences and navigate difficult behaviors, fostering emotional growth and regulation. My goal is to empower young minds, providing personalized strategies to help them build resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of self-worth as they navigate life's complexities.

Furthermore, my certification as a doula has fueled my interest in supporting womxn through the postpartum and prenatal periods, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges and life transitions.

My journey into mental health counseling stems from my innate ability to create safe and comfortable spaces during challenging times. My empathetic and non-judgmental approach laid the foundation for my transition into therapy, fueled by a deep-seated desire to spread love and support.

Equipped with various therapeutic techniques, I aim to support personal growth and healing by adapting these methods to individual needs:

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Person-centered Therapy

  • Gestalt Therapy

  • Solution-focused Therapy

In our therapy sessions, expect authenticity, a hint of challenge, and a sense of humor. This journey is about YOU, and my role is to guide you while allowing you to steer.

Take the first step towards positive change. Schedule a session today and embark on your journey towards healing. Let's work together to achieve your goals and empower you to live a fulfilling life!
