What is therapy?

Therapy, also called counseling or psychotherapy, is a collaborative process between you and a trained mental health professional. It is a dedicated space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build the tools and insight you need to move forward.

At Healing Spaces, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Our therapists use a range of evidence-based approaches,  including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care, tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Sessions are available in person at our Clayton, St. Louis office and via telehealth across Missouri.
