Nicole graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Psychology. She has received her M.A. in Counseling from the University of Missouri--Kansas City with an emphasis in Children and Families.
She has worked in the mental/behavioral health field for 14 years with various populations. Her specialities include serving individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, behavioral problems, life transitions, stress management and relationship issues.
Utilizing evidenced-based practices, Nicole provides counseling to help individuals change maladaptive behavior patterns and achieve personal growth. She utilizes an integrative approach to counseling, combining Person-Centered, Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and Adoption Competency (TAC) techniques to ensure each individual receives treatment tailored to their specific needs.
