Life has certainly brought its fair share of challenges, and I am passionate about helping people to identify, normalize, and work through their feelings so you can be happier, healthier, and have better relationships (or whatever your goals are for therapy)!

I am looking forward to partnering with you on your path to emotional healing and wellness!

Parenting and Caregiving

I am also passionate about working with parents and caregivers to have better relationships with their child(ren). Parenting is hard, and I am here to provide the tools and support you need.

Using attachment-based (and sometimes hands on!) techniques and interventions, I want to help you to manage your own emotional reactions to manage a child with difficult behavior and to help you learn to co-regulate or teach your child to better self-regulate strong emotions.

I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Toledo, with an emphasis in Mental Health.

My specialty trainings include the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics Phase 1, Training for Adoption Competency (TAC), Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC), and in ACT Raising Safe Kids.

Individual Therapy

  • Are you having trouble feeling motivated to find relief when you are upset?

  • Are feelings of anxiety, sadness, & overwhelm getting in the way of you living your best life?

  • Are you struggling with the impact of COVID-19, starting or leaving a new job, or other life transitions?

If you are an older teenager or adult who is ready to work and willing to dive deeper and examine the emotions that underlie your behaviors, then I may be the right therapist for you!  I also have an extensive history working with clients of ethnic minorities, including immigrant populations and those with Middle Eastern backgrounds.

I use evidence-based treatments, such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help people, like you, achieve their goals. I also integrate trauma-focused, strength-based, person-centered, and attachment-based models to address client’s individual needs.

If you are ready to feel better, overcome what life has thrown your way, and understand why you might do the things you do, then give us a call at 314-472-3091 or click below. FREE 15-minute consultation available!
