What is telehealth?

Telehealth allows clients to connect safely with their clinician through secure appointments via their computer, laptop, or mobile device. To prepare for the appointment, clients should identify a quiet and private room or space; the use of headphones is highly recommended.

Can I do telehealth from anywhere?

Typically, clients must conduct services in the same state where the clinician is licensed. So, you must log in for services in the state of Missouri. Due to new legislation (PSYPACT) Dr. Jackson can also provide telehealth services for clients in AL, AZ, CO, DE, DC, GA, IL, KS, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, NC, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT and VA! What are your rates?

Fees for therapy are dependent on your clinician's credentials and on the length of your session. Fees for 45-minute sessions range from $$120-$160. Find out more information here. We offer a FREE 15-minute consultation for those wanting to meet the therapist before scheduling. ​​ Fees for psychological assessments are based on the type and complexity of the evaluation you are requesting. Can I use my insurance?

The clinicians at Healing Spaces Psychological Services are not an in-network provider for insurance companies. This allows us to maintain smaller caseloads to provide focused, intentional, and up-to-date, evidenced-based treatment. Payment for services will be fee-for-service, and clients can pay via credit, debit, or health savings card. You are welcome to contact your individual insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network benefits. We would be happy to provide you with a superbill or documentation to submit to your insurance company. You can also use Reimbursify, an out-of-network insurance claim-filing app that allows you to track and file your own claims.

What happens if I cannot attend my scheduled appointment?

Clinicians at Healing Spaces are committed to your individual treatment goals and plan. When you schedule an appointment with us, then we set aside time to provide you with quality care. Therefore, it is imperative that you contact our office as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This gives us time to schedule other clients who may be waiting for an appointment. As a courtesy, Healing Spaces will send appointment reminders 48 hours in advance of your appointment time. We request that you give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you do not do so within that time frame, then a fee will be charged to your card on file. This fee will also be applied for no-show appointments.
