Dr. Kezia Jackson (nee’ Coleman) is the founder of Healing Spaces Psychological Services. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in providing assessment and therapeutic services with children with emotional regulation difficulties and oppositional/defiant behavior, as well as their families. In addition, Dr. Jackson provides individual therapy services to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Furthermore, Dr. Jackson has a passion for serving individuals from traditionally underserved populations. 

Dr. Jackson obtained a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland in 2016. During her five year tenure at Loyola, she received ample training at various hospitals, residential treatment centers, and schools working with and assessing children, adolescents, and young adults, navigating social skills difficulties, complex trauma, and behavioral difficulties. Her training experiences also included completing an APA-accredited internship at Terry Children's Center, a residential treatment center in Delaware, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Behavioral Health (CBH). 


Dr. Jackson has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), a developmentally sensitive, neurobiologically informed approach to working with children with complex trauma histories.


Due to new legislation (PSYPACT), Dr. Jackson can also serve telehealth clients in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Alabama (effective 06/01/2021), and Kentucky (eff. 06/29/21). Dr. Jackson looks forward to working with you and your family.
